Operating under the Western Railways, the Golden Temple Mail (12903) is a superfast train connecting Mumbai and Amritsar in Punjab by covering 1893 kilometers. The train runs at an average speed of 59 km per hour with the maximum speed of 110 km per hour permissible speed.

It halts at 32 stations starting its journey from the Mumbai Central and some of the prominent stations are Surat, Vadodara Junction, Ratlam Junction, Kota Junction, Sawai Madhopur Junction, Mathura Junction, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Meerut City Junction, Saharanpur Junction, Ambala Cantonment, Ludhiana Junction, Jalandhar City Junction and Amritsar Junction. Offering a daily service, the train departs from Mumbai at 9.25 pm and reaches Amritsar at 5.30 am on the third day running two nights.
